Mother's day!!

Today is a special day for every single mother I wish a happy mothers specially to mrs. Soffer
And kulwinder!! I made breakfast for my mom and my aunt. Is been a very busy day for me I made BBQ for the rest of my aunts I super tired but is all work it. I went to my boyfriend house to gave his mother a beautiful bouquite. My mother received 6 bouquets of flowers they are beautiful.

Sunday out with family!

Sunday I went out with my family. I had fun because I could talk to my sister and brothers. We went to a Perubian restaurant I don't really like that food. We order so much food and I ate a lot but I realized how much i ate until we got inside the car. The restaurant was packed but the most important thing there was a singer he made a lot of jokes he sang good. I had a pretty good weekend.

Saturday night!!

Saturday night I had fun with my sisters, brothers, cousins, boyfriend and friends from church. We went to movie theater we watched fast five that movie is great. That's my favorite that is the best movie I ever seen.. All of you should go and watch this movie. Yesterday was crazy at the movie theater was a big line to buy the tickets inside the theater was packed it. I saw my neighboors at the movies. I had great tome with all me people.

Good weather..

Yesterday and today was a good day because the weather was good but now the weather is not good because is cloudy but is not cold is chilly. Today I went to my old school and I saw one of my favorite teachers she was happy to see me and I was happy to see her. I didn't plan to go to the school but the principal took my sister phone so i had to go to get the phone. Was not to see some of my old friends that was nice. One day I need to plan to go and see the rest of my teachers.

The spring break is almost over!!

SO the vacations are almost over I think the time flies because the vacations are almost over but this vacation been pretty good. I haven't do my homework but I'll do it tomorrow. Today was a busy day I went to the doctor With my mother she had two appointments took the whole morning wich is sucks but hopefully everything come out good. I went to the bank with my mom
And I had to babysit wich I like that little boy make everyday better. A day without him is not the same.

Spring break

So today my older brother painted my sisters new bedroom so I tried to helped during he ate his breakfast made by her sister me haha. I helped but painted my hair too by accident and looks white I took a shower but didn't came out. My sister was all bored with cousin so took them to taco bell we had fun and than we went to store just for a walked. Now we making plans to go out tomorrow to ihop for breakfast hopefully and we can go tomorrow.

Good days so far!!

All this days been pretty good Saturday we gave a surprise to the pastor from my church has to leave to another church I spend time with my friends and my boyfriend. Sunday I went to park with my sisters. Mother and my favorite aunt but when we got there was cols because Sunday was Windy day. Today I had fun with my sisters, brothers, cousin and the little boy I babysit but the best part was when I went out with my boyfriend. We went to my favorite restaurant olive garden.

My mommy

My mom went to the doctor Today so she went because she had do some test the everything woman have to do in the 30s or 40's. Eveythibg went well of the test she had to do but the doctor check her Breast hi found something so she has to do another test. I don't want my mom to have breast cancer that will be the worst. I don't want to imagine that I'll not know how to deal with that. I think we have enough problems in my house. My mother is my everything I'll keep her in my prayers and I'll tell my boyfriend to help to pray for my mom so eveytbing come out good.. Good night everyone !!!

Marriage!!

This topic of marriage is good one because I like to hear or watch movies about marriage. I think every girl dream about their wedding in a white dress princess style. That's what the most girl dream about including me obviously. Is good to hear about love story and the always have a good ending. I know a couple the been married for 28 years they have 3 kids two girls and one guy. Now they have grandchildren the little boys are twins. I met the woman at church her husband got batzim last Saturday she was very happy!!!

Wedding!

Now I'm at the beauty salon near my house I want to be here I'm sleepy I just want to go hone and sleep. I'm not too excited about the wedding. My boyfriend is going to be my partner for the wedding court. Yesterday we had a rehersal at church. Hopefully and everything come out good!!

Amish people!!

I wish I could go to the Amish community to see them in real life. Hopefully and one day I go to see their lifestyle. They live in a healthy way the air is fresh and they don't have a busy life as the outside world people. Is hard to leave the way the leave but is good way to save money and have a healthy life. We all should go to pennsylvania to visit the Amish I'm just saying!! What you guys think?

Family reunion!!

So today I had a good time with my family . Onecof my aunt called my mom to invited her to go over her house because she cooked one of my mom favorite food and then another aunt and her family went there. The food was good and we talked and we watched tv with the family. Me and my cousins went to buy a Dominican cake because my mom and aunts want to eat cake with coffee I had good time with them.

5 years!!

Today i have 5 years in this country. March 31, 2006 I came here so today I have 5 years I. All this 5 years I had some bad moments but I have more good memories. This country is Been great for me the only thing I don't like is the weather is not that good but with the rest I'm good. I want to stay here forever. A lot of people wants to go back to our native country but I don't. America has a lot of opportunities!!!

Monday the worse day in college.

Yesteday was the worse day in college. I called the taxi after class the taxi driver didn't know how to get to the north annex so I had to walked all way to G building. The taxi driver was calling me to tell me the he was there but I couldn't answer my phone something was wrong with my phone. Something appear asking for the voicemail password. I couldn't make calls my boyfriend was worry and mine mom too. I was too shy to ask a person to let me borrow the phone. I went back to north annex to see how was there to borrow the phone. The worse part I didn't have a ride home and at l:17. I find Daury at the north annex he let used his phone.

My future house!!

I know don't why but I always thinking about in my future house. When I get marry I want to have a beautiful house. I want to decorate my house with beautiful paint, fortunate, and decorations.the house should have a big leaving room, dinner room, kitchen and big bedrooms. The house should have s big back yard. That's my dream house hopefully I find that house.

Not a good week.

This week I new to memorize a play for Saturday morning in sabbath school. I need to do a story for kids and I'm not that good as a storytelling. I hope I could have more ideas to do the story. After the story I have do something else. Hopefully I do good.

Saturday night was awesome I had such great time last night with my whole family and my sisters friends. Last night we celebrate my sisters birthday! The food was delicious. My sisters, cousins, aunts and friends they danced a lot last night all type of music. My cousins had a sleep over in my house. They went to sleep like around 6 in the morning. The party was over around 1:00 am. We have great time!!!!

Talents

I read mrs. Softer blog about her talents now the I'm in church I think I discover my talents I never thought the I could be in a play for church. I did one when I was in El Salvador for my class I play snow white but I couldn't memorize my part so I had to read it from a piece of paper but I don't do that anymore I can memorize what I have to say Saturday 26 of this month I have to be in a play or Dramma we can call it like that I think and my boyfriend want me to be in it with my mom next month hopefully I do good. Can someone tell me the whats the homework

Twins birthday

So today is my sisters birthday finally 15 years old my sisters are growing up so fast. I don't want them to grow up more because this world is full of crazy stuff they still in high school. My family and some of their friends to go out for dinner and Saturday we going to celebrate with the rest of the family and friends. They don't want the usual quinceaneras for Latinas girls.

saturday

hi everyone!! yesterday  was not a good day for me i had so much things to do at church, but the worse part was the afternoon because i lost my phone i was upset because i lost my phone at church. I called many times to my phones but nobody answer the phone. Maybe today is  a better  day for me well i have to do homework later on.

Tourist attraction project!!

I'm excited because my attraction is 10 minutes away from the town I lived. I think is a good project because we can write about our native country and make other people visit our beautiful beaches. Museums, and other tourist attractions. In the future I want to travel yo Italy, Hawaii, puerto Rico, Colombia, frencia, Colombia ,and Egypt.

Days!!

Friday was a good day for me I learned something super good I didn't have to wait to pick me up at school my brother was there waiting for me woohoo. I got home cleaned and after I went to walmart with my sisters and I bought something for a little girl at church I have to buy a present for one kid the whole March. Saturday almost the whole day at church but around 7 pm we had a babyshower I had fun and I spend a lot with my boyfriend and he is little sister she love me she is always with me. Sunday I have to do my homework I did already now is time to rest so see you guys tommorrow!!!

A good day!!

Today is a good day so far my mom stayed home today she droop me off at school today but I drived to school this morning. At school I had a good day and also I'm feel much better thank God. My mother pick me up today and I saw my boyfriend today we dropp him off at his house with mom after that mom went somewhere the she had to go and I invited her to eat we had lunch together. We got home I cleaned my house and at 2:30 we went to pick up my brother and sister and, I drived the car again woohoo:)now I'm resting because at 7 I have to go church..

My day at home

I couldn't made it to school I had go to the hospital last night because I had really bad pain in my stomach I went to bed at 5 in the morning I still not feeling well hopefully I feel better tomorrow and I go school. If some one can tell me the homework for tomorrow please. To be in my house all by myself is not that good:(

The weekend is almost over so that's mean tomorrow back to class. I think I'm ready to go back to class. During vacations I learned how drive I'm exticed the I'm learning my mom is really happy the I'm learning. I think that's good for me and for my mom because I can help her now I need a car because I don't want to drive a van is too big for me. Right now I'm in the cat waiting for my mom I hate this. I'm so bored I wish I can go out but I can't.

Vacations!

I'm tired of been in vacation because I don't go out I have to wait to mom get home to out at least for my driving lessons. Today I watched a movie called "A walk to remember" that movie is good but sad I cried I was by myself I enjoy the movie. My brothers are going out with our friend but I can't go. I watched movie almost everyday. I did my homework already.

Sunday

I had so much fun with my cousins and the birthday girl bestfrirnd we went out for lunch with half of my family we went to the buffet I font really like that food we were 21 people we got there at 1:00 pm and we get out at 3:00pm. My family came over to ny house to cut the cake but we started talking and my bothers made jokes and all that so we cut the cake around 7:00 pm after that we went bowling we my cousins we took my mom van I dont know how we fit in the van 11 persons. We came back at 10 pm and our parents they watched a movie my cousins plann a sleep over so we can watch movie they went home to get there pj's and everything they need for a sleep over we went to sleep at 5:30 am we had Lot and lot of fun..

I'm waiting for Sunday!!

I'm waiting for Sunday to come. On Sunday we going to celebrate my cousins birthday she's 19 years old. My whole family we going to go out to a restaurant I hope we go to olive garden I love that food the salad is the best. My mom told me the she's going to teach me how drive I'm exited. Now the I have my driver permit I need to learn how drive..

My worries

I'm having trouble with the computer I'm not that good at it using the computer. I need to have a PowerPoint by Saturday morning for church and I can't find the information the I need I Bern texting the guy I have to work with to do this every Saturday but I don't if something is wrong with his phone because he dosen't answer the text and I'm worry because I don't know what to do with the information. Plus I have to memorize like 5 sentences by Saturday morning because I have the program in sabbath school sometimes I feel like I have too much pressure and that's not good I'm too young...

Sunday

Yesterday i had a bless with my family. We celebrate my cousin birthday my cousins, aunt, uncle came over was really nice spend time with than. The food was really good the bought the food. Last months and this one we celebrate alot of birthdays. When my family coMe over we always have fun. My cuisins are really funny my brothers always made my family laugh. I cleaned my whole house I was tired but I didn't care but at 10:00 pm I was very tired. Spending time with the family is the best.

My novel!!

My novel is very intresting. The name of my novel is "In the Time of the Butterflies" by Julia Alvarez. This novel took place in Dominican Republic. Is good story about three sisters they went to school and met a girl by name Sinita she had to stay in college in the dormitories. This girl Sinita had a story about her family how Trujillo's dictatorship he kill her whole family. Sinita told one of the sisters the story of her family. They met a new girl by name Minerva Trujillo waas in love with her. Sinita heard about it she was angry because she knew his story how he play with girls like that. Trujillo send her love letters, roses and bears he used send her everything she want. I think my book is very intresting this novel is a recommendation of my bestfriend she read it in her English class:)

My permit!!

Yesterday was a exciting day for me I took the test for my permit I was nervous because I didn't study too much for it I was very nervous plus all my friends told me that test is easy I had the pressure some persons told u are a smart girl u can pass the test I said to myselft if I don't pass the test i am going to feel so dumb. I got to MV I was nervous I wait like 1:00 hr to take test the line was long. Thank God I passed my permit I'm so proud of my self I pass it in the first time:) wooohoo. My told me she is going to buy me a small car I'm so happy I need to go college:)

My days afters classes!!

My days are not that good they used to be. After class I have to call someone and ask for a ride. I got home at 1:00 something I change my clothes I have eat something and clean my house I have clean every day because I have a dog so I don't no have choice. After that i have to do my homework at 3:15 I have to wait for little boy I babysit and help him to do his homework gave him food. After that I have to study for the permit im not sure that's how call it when I have get the" permission to drive" . Every week I have study the bible. That's my life ater classes.

I want this week to be over.

As I said want this week to be over I have so much to do this week. I'm tired I have to homework every day. I got to my house at 1:00 always because when class is over I have to see who is going to pick me up. I have clean everyday and study. I have to study for the permit I have so much presure because I'm worry if I fail the test ima be so sad. I have to do a service in my church today and Saturday I have a drama to do I'm nervous is not my first time but still I'm nervous.

My classmates

My classmates are very nice all of them. Finally I have 3 friends in there which a spend my break I'm so happy because I used be by myself. I made another friend from another class he's really nice and very friendly. My friend from class said the he is very cute. My teacher is very nice i love the color of her eyes. I told mom about she said look stared at her eyes because she told my children can have the same color if her eyes my mom crack me up. I think the my mom is wrong i dont believe if those kind if thing. My friends are very nice. All my classmates seems nice person I'm sure they are.

My aunt Bday surprise!!!

Februray 5 last saturday. We celebrate her Bday but didnt know. My cousin was telling how angry she got bc her husband didn't say happy Bday she want to woke up take a shower because she was sad. My cousin had trouble telling to woke up and get ready to go out with her husband he told my aunt to go over to his family house she so finally she woke up take a shower and get ready. We got to her house they had alot of food we ate a lot of appetiszers. She got there we turn the light off she open the door we said surprise happy birthday. She was happy after that my cousins, aunt and my sister they danced alot. We sand happy Bday song we ate the cake was yummy was chocolate banana and strawberries in the middle the cake was really good I came back at 12: 00 am to my house I had fun.

Weekend

Satuday morning i woke up at 7:20 am i was confused I forget what day was I thought I had school that day but minutes later i remember was saturday i woke up and got ready for church I had a good day at church start at 9:00 am and finish at 12:00 pm I got home I had lunch with my family and at night time i went to my aunt martha i had fun i ate pupusas.Sunday night I went to my aunt house she celebrated my uncle Bday. She had to work so she asked a favor to my mom if she can pick up the cake so we went to levitown to pick up the cake. My mom bought for me and my sisters the bread was really good. I got to the Bday was alot of food I saw my lil cousin he so cute with his curly hair. I had so much fun with my family and the cake was really good. I had a good weekend and first weekend I didn't go to mall...

I need a job

As I said I need a job asap because I want to save money to buy a car. I'm having a big trouble every day after class because I don't know who's going to pick me up and my mom dosen't want me to take the bus and I think is not fair. I want to take the bus because I feel bad asking for ride. I haven't work and I'm 18 now I feel bad because almost all my friend has a job. I'm sure God will prepare something good for me. My brother trying to help ne to get a job at D&B he works there and they pay good is not that bad. If I get the job I'll let you know:)

A snow day!!!

A snow day is good and bad.I am going to give you the answer why is good and is because you can relax watch a movie drink coffee or something warm and people stay home. The second answer is bad because people can't drive is too danguers and alot traffic. I heard in news we expecting more snow for the rest of The day and gor tonight.I don't really like snow because homeless people they don't have a house to live and people die. This winter been crazy alot of snow there 7 snows storms already. Hopefully next week is going to be better.!!

High school.

My first year in high school was kind hurt because by the time I could't speak englesh. The
9th grade I met alot of people. My teachers were pretty cool I told them my problem and they undertood. They helped me. My second year was getting better by the time my days in high school they got better. I had to pass some regents.. I was to embarres to speak englesh that was my big problem. I had a boyfriend in High the only one I had in high school he was very sweet at The bigining we went out for two years in my senior year we broke up. I didn't went to prom. My senior year was good and I did pretty good and passed my englesh regent with a 70 I was so happy. I graduated in June but my friends didn't graduated with me..

My two best friends

I have two best friends one is a girl and The other one is a boy. The name of my friend is Sarai and Christian both of then they go church the sane as me.Christian is with no matter what he is a amanzing friend I meet him at church. He sings really good he always give special to my church he sing. He is tall and cute. Sarai it's short girlshes good at plays.They born here. We have a good friendship.we always sit together at church or any where we are...

MY FAMILY

My family is big. We are 7 my mom, stepfather,bothers and twins sister. My real father live in  California i miss him but i know one day we goin to be together. My mom is super cool she is very nice with my friends and the rest of the people. My  twin sister are 14 years old. They go to Uniondale High school. I have two brothers one is 16 years old and my older brother is 20 years old. The one is 16 he goes to the same school with my  twins sisters.My older brother  goes to a institude.I love my family sometimes is hard to live with them..

I'm Glenda  Beatriz Rosales Funes thats my full name. I'm from  El Slvador.I   was born  in my own country El Salvador. I'm 18 years old. I came here when i  was 13 years old. My mom celebrated my sweetfifteen in  2007. I graduated from high last summer.  I mis my old teachers and friends from high school. I'm christian im seven day adventist so thats  mean i go church every single saturday with my family.
